Brute

Description:
A muscle bound behemoth of a man, described in no better term than Brute. A brute has spent a lifetime building his body, giving him tremendous stregth, that a normal person wouldn't even believe is possible.
Brutes are large and heavy obviously, though contrary to popular belief they don't have much trouble with mobillity short of squeezing in to tight places. With powerful leg muscles a brute can carry his tremendous girth at great speed overland. Flexibility though is a totally different issue.
Brutes preffer a bludgeon type of weapon, the heavier the better, unless paired with a swordsman in which case their tastes are more versetile.
Remember with brutish strength comes a brutish hunger. Such large muscles need more food to fuel them and perform at maximum capacity. When under physical exertion is high a brute may even eat double what a normal person would.

Abillities:
Lifting capacity: In situations where something needs to be moved a brute has the might to take care of it. Even stones of tremendous weight can be shoved aside and locked doors broken from their hinges. "When brute force isn't working, you're probably not using enough." Normally a brute can lift up to quadruple his own body weight. A brute's strength continues to increase by completing quests, increasing their lifting capacity by half of their own bodyweight each quest, up to eight times.

Flex: A brute can tense his muslces and enlarge himself quite a bit. This seems like a strange abillity to have but it does have its uses, such as breaking holds and bindings, or just plain showing off to intimidate an oponent. It does tend to ruin perfectly good shirts though.

Sprint: When sheer speed is needed a brute can unleash a surprising burst of speed. Though it's exhausting and the range is short, a brute can explode with speed far faster than a normal human being, using the immense power of their leg muscles.

Qualities:
Intimidation: Brutes are big, and scary without needing to say anything. Because of this some enemies that posess at least some sense of self preservation may give up and run away before a battle can even start. Physical prowess: It goes without saying that a brute is incredibly strong though not agile. A Brute also has great endurance allowing him to continue fighting and moving for long periods of time without tiring.
Durability: The muscles of a brute go beyond their most obvious function and also serve as a sort of armor. Hard as rocks it's nearly impossible to injure a brute with ones bare hands unless you're another brute. Ohterwise only the normal weak points of the body are going to be vulnerable to any non weapon attack. Brutes increase their durabillity even further through experiance. Each quest completed will slightly increase the hardness of a brute's body. By ten quests a brute will even be able to stop a bullet. Though being shot still would not be recomended.
Carrying Capacity: Brutes can carry larger, heavier travel packs and as such carry more items than any other character.

(All qualities of a brute are halved if used for a sub-class.)
Brutal Blows: It shouldn't even need to be said, that when a brute hits something IT HURTS. Paired with a combat class, a brute can lay down blows that are unsurvivable by all but the strongest of monsters.
