500,000 B.C. With the receding of the glaciers and the end of the last ice age the old gods reign over early humanity. Though their bloody rule demands constant human sacrifice they grant tremendous advances to the primitive humans. Under them three great civilizations rise. Atlantis in the west, under the rule of Y'leaoth, Mu in the southeast under Zuu, and Angol to the north under Ik'Tulthu.

50,000 B.C. having expanded their empires across the continents the three ancient civilizations have begun to war with one another. The people of Mu and Atlantis united against the Angol. Their war brought all of humanity to the brink of extinction until heaven intervened. Zuu and Y'leaoth were deposed as deities and each of their nations sank into the sea, while the forces of heaven were pitted against the black god Ik'Tulthu. Far outmatched by Ik'Tulthu the heavenly enforcers Gabriel and Azrael were able to form a pact with the remaining gods for their assistance. Ultimately Ik'Tulthu still beyond any defeat had to be sealed instead. Cast into the furthest pit of Hell even sealed outside Satan's reach he was cut off from the earth, suposedly forever. But Ik'Tulthu is an interdimensional being by nature and even under a powerful seal none can completely escape from his power as his will seeps into the corporeal world.

30,000 B.C. The last remnants of Atlantis and Mu found their way to the mainland. All memories of their once greatness lay at the bottom of the sea and the Angol were destroyed alltogether yet vowed vengence upon the decendants of their enemies. New civilizations began to grow.

Along the nile the egyptian civilization sprang up while what would be the great empires of the middle east had their beginnings along the tigris and euphretes rivers, while the first of the far east civilizations began to form around the yellow river in what would be china.

After the fall of the great ancients a number of lesser gods appeared and began to rule humans in different regions. In time they would forget the lessons learned from the wars of the ancients and begin sending their people to war against one another and demand sacrifices of flesh and blood.

0000 A.D.

A new war begins. The decedant and greedy gods of olympus are deposed by the forces of heaven. Yet the Roman civilization of the era will not accept their fall and begins persecuting the followers of heaven, in the name of their fallen gods.

0004 A.D. Birth of Christ. A change begins on earth away from the worship of the old gods. Agreeing to peace with heaven the northern, american, and eastern gods form a pact. However in this begining of a bright time for humanity, a darkness is brewing. The seal of Hell has been weakened and the arch nemesis of heaven, Satan has begun to reach into earth realm, and influence events directly.

00034 A.D. Jesus is crucified allowing many souls to escape from Satan's grasp. This forms the founding principle of Christianity.

0100 A.D. The last of the believers of the olympus gods are nearly gone as Christianity takes hold in europe.

0410A.D. The official fall of rome began the dark age of human civilization and with it demonic and pagan influence began to spread creating chaos in the spiritual world as well.

1000 A.D. The first crusade begins, marking the beginning of a long period of warfare among humankind, and harshly deviding the followers of heaven among three groups, further weakening the holy presence in the realm of earth. During this time Leon Belmont destinguishes himself in the crusades. This is the first time the name Belmont has been recorded.

1431 Vlad Tepez III Dracula is born, son of Dracul and prince of Romania. He would in his rule wage numerous fierce wars against invaders and was seen as hero and villain alike by his people.

1462 Vlad tepez is away in battle when an arrow is fired through the window of his fiance's bedroom with a false message claiming Vlad was killed in battle. She shortly after commits suicide and the church refuses her absolution. Dracula that day swears a curse to God. Making a pact with Satan he becomes a vampire and the prince of darkness.

In the following years though he would continue to focus his wrath on the invaders of the country until he meets a peasant woman named Lisa. Again he falls in love. But the people begin to fear the count and Lisa is killed turning Dracula's rage against humanity. At this point his son Adrian is astranged to him.

1476 The first belmont is called upon by heaven and granted the whip "Vampire Killer" and superhuman abillities to fight Dracula, Sonia Belmont. She works together with Adrian Ferenhights Tepez now known as Alucard. Sonia also fell in love with Alucard during this time. Alucard however chose to leave the final battle to Sonia and sealed himself away in a cave below the castle.

Sonia would defeat Dracula, though Dracula swore he would be resurected again and again, while Sonia too made an oath that someone would always arise to fight him. After defeating the count however Sonia was not well recieved and was cast out of her home. She would later give birth to her son Trevor. No official record exists of Sonia Belmont outside of oral tradition within the Belmont clan. Officially a traitor among Dracula's army stabbed him with a lance as he was battling invading Turks.

Dracula's body was decapitated by Turkish invaders and later burried. Later that year it was exhumed to be reburried beneth Castle Dracula by his followers, however no body was found in his casket.

1497
Dracula true to his word arose from the dead restored to full power. He called upon his demonic forces to launch a full scale assault on the human world. During this time others attempted to fight him including the Dunasty familly, descendants of a once noble familly, rival to the throne of Wallachia, and the Balnades clan, a traveling familly of gypsies gifted with magical power, Both failed. The Dunasty familly mostly killed while Grant the final member was transformed into a monster to fight for Dracula while Sypha Balnades was turned to stone and a cyclopse monster sent to guard her.

The people whom had exiled Sonia sent out messages that they were searching for her. Arriving in answer was her son Trevor Belmont. Trevor was able to break the curse on Grant though soon parted ways with him. He soon after restored Sypha and joined forces to fight against Dracula. Together they also sought and and awoke Alucard.

Together the band was able to defeat Dracula. It is believed that Sypha later married Trevor, while Alucard returned to sleep fearing his own power. This time the people were greatful to Trevor and the Belmont name became famous from this point in history.

1576
Christopher Belmont 100 years after the fall of Dracula has lost belief in the old stories of Dracula and chooses to settle down and marry. Shortly after his mairage however, Elizibeth Bartley a noble woman with an unnatural obsession with the sordid history of the region seeks out the remains of Dracula and through blood ritual resurects him.

Christopher takes up the whip, Vampire killer, and after the loss of many loved ones, Christopher defeats Dracula, in battle, however Dracula dissapears shortly after leaving his true fate unclear.

1595
15 years after being defeated by Christopher Belmont Dracula's haunting spirit returns and posesses Christopher's son Soliyu Belmont. Christopher though older is able to break the seal on Dracula's castle and confront his own son whom is being manipulated by Dracula. He fights Soliyu to a stalemate and manages to break Dracula's control. Christopher then continues into the castle to face off with Dracula and defeat him once again. The Vampire Killer is later handed down to Soliyu, whom shows promise as a vampire killer. During this time Soliyu is also the first recorded individual to make use of an item crash.

Dracula did not recieve a centenial resurection on the 97th year of the 16th century due to having been in hiding and still alive at the time.

1666
Victor Belmont a self pronounced coward and compulsive gambler, and heavy drinker flees Transylvania for parts unknown somewhere in europe. It is believed he changed his name after having learned of the familly heritage.

1691
Death, Dracula's oldest and most trusted comanion as well as part of the pact that made Dracula the Dark Lord, calls Dracula back 6 years early. Simon Belmont though an adult and married has not finished his training to face Dracula and makes a difficult journey to the dark castle unprepared. Simon after a desperate struggle is able to defeat Dracula. However Dracula had a contngency plan for the Belmonts this time and placed a curse on Simon as he died. Simon would die within two years if Dracula's remains were not reassembled and burned.

1692
Simon succeeds in gathering Dracula's body only to realize he was bieng used. Dracula is resurected through Simon's own actions, though with only a brief period to regenerate, Dracula was easilly defeated by Simon before his evil could spread. Or so he believed.

1697 Dracula's pact is held strong as he arises from the grave once more to spread his evil across the land. Simon however, stronger than ever is up to the challenge. The battle that followed is the thing of legends. Dracula and Simon, each at the absolute pinacle of power put an end to their rivalry in an epic clash of titans. Dracula is defeated at last, burning away in the light of dawn. Simon at last turns his back on the evil castle Dracula for the final time.

1748

Juste Belmont, grandson of Simon, and lifelong friends Lydie and Maxim, part ways. Juste would spend the next two years traveling abroad to improve his vampire hunting skills. 1750


Juste Belmont returns finding his close friend Maxim has been besieged by monsters, and has lost his memory. Juste takes up the Vampire Killer and ventures into Castle Dracula with Maxim in search of his missing frind Lydie. During their explorations, Maxim's memory returns, and he realizes that he had attempted to prevent Dracula's resurection by gathering and destroying the remnants of Dracula's body. Unfortunately Maxim was not prepared for the evil force emanating from Dracula's remains and was posessed by them, and that he himself was Lydie's abductor.

Juste recollects the parts of Dracula's body and confronts Maxim. After a brief battle, Maxim regains his sanity, and forces out the haunting spirit of Dracula.

The combined parts of Dracula assemble and form an undead wraith which attacks Juste. Juste defeats the wraith and escapes having saved Maxim and Lydie. He soon after settles into a peaceful life putting aside the vampire killer.

1788
Dracula arises again summoned by the Necromancer, Shaft, and makes an imediate offensive against the Belmont clan abducting Annet Renard, the fiance of the current Belmont Richter as well as Annet's younger sister Maria.

Richter is able to rescue both Annet and Maria though Shaft escapes and shortly after the final battle with Dracula Richter dissapears.

1797
All searches proved futile. Maria takes notice of castle Dracula arising.and sets off to the castle to search for Richter. During this time Alucard is reawakened and joins her in the search.
Richter is found in the castle but is being manipulated by Shaft's dark magic. Alucard is forced to fight Richter and break Dracula's control. Immediately after the battle a second castle appears in the sky above Castle Dracula. Alucard, Richter, and Maria search the castle further to uncover the mystery of the new castle and defeat Shaft. Alucard succeeds in finding the scattered remnants of Dracula in the castle just as Simon did centuries ago. Alucard brings the remnants of Dracula to the castle in the sky and finds Shaft waiting for him. Though he defeats Shaft, Shaft succeeds in restoring Dracula to life from his body parts. Alucard fights an intense battle with his own father and is able to defeat him badly damaging his body as well.

After the battle Maria dissapears with Alucard and neither is heard from again, while Richter returns to peaceful life with Annet. Richter however consults a prophet later and finds that he and his bloodline have been corrupted, and is left unable to use the Vampire Killer. The curse will persist in Richter's line until the year 1999. Until then Richter entrusts the sacred duties of the Belmont clan to his friend and fellow Vampire Hunter, Morris Baldwin. Morris using alchemy succeeded in creating a duplicate of the Vampire Killer, known as the "Hunter's Whip" which while not powered by holy magic was an excellent conduit for magical energy.

1820
The servants of Dracula resurect him early though he is soon sealed away by a trio of brave warriors consisting of the Graves familly and Morris Baldwin.

1830
In Austria a demoness by the name of Camilla attemts to resurect Dracula once again and captures Morris whom sealed him ten years prior. His apprentices Nathan Graves, son of Morris's allies in the previous battle, and Morris's own son, Hugh venture into the castle but are soon seperated. Hugh is tricked by Camilla and turned against Nathan, though after a battle Hugh breaks free. With the aid of Hugh Nathan is able hunt down to defeat Dracula with the power of the Hunter's whip.

1844
The servants of Dracula are not at rest and realize that his centenial resurection is at risk after his battles with Richter, Alucard, Morris, and Nathan so close together. It is decided that Dracula's old body can not be continualy resurected and he must be reincarnated in a new form. With the aid of one of his long time servants Giles DaRais as well as his newer servant Actrise and the ever mysterious Death his body is reanimated through means of a sacrifice. Though weaker than before he seeks out the man beast tribe for their power and begins manipulating them.

First by gaining the services of a man beast named Ortega and others and by abducting a young girl named Ada whom was adopted by the tribe. Her adoptive brother Cornel returns from the east to find this and sets off to the caslte in search of her. During this time he aids still living members of the DaRais familly saving their son Henry though unable to save either parent from the curse of vampirism.

Cornel defeats his rival Ortega before hunting down Dracula and fighting him. However the battle was orchestrated by Dracula's servants all along. While Cornel believed he'd been victorious and saved Ada he lost his man beast power which gave sufficient strength to the next ritual.

When Cornel's power was sacrificed it was strong enough to reinvigorate Dracula's spirit which would soon after be reborn as a human.
,br> During this time Dracula's minions also massacred the Fernandez clan leaving the then 4 year old Carrie Fernandez the only survivor. It was a crime to be paid back 8 years later.

1852
The eastern orthodox church had fortold the coming evil and sought out heroes to fight it. Richter's line still unable to use the Vampire Killer was unable to stand against Dracula in the desperate time. Heeding the words of a monk's prophetic writings, the Eastern Orthodox church sought out another hero who would stand against Dracula. Enter Reinhardt Shneider, a skilled Vampire hunter, whom as it turns out is a distant descendant of Simon Belmont's daughter. Although he is less powerful than Richter, as the bulk of the Belmont legacy is passed down the male line Reinhadt seems to be able to summon the holy power of the Vampire Killer. Hugh Baldwin, unable to use the whip himself, hands it over to Reinhardt and whishes him luck as he ventures into the dark castle. Reinhardt is a strong young man with unshakable faith and morality. The Belmont clan puts their faith in him to confront the horrors within castle Dracula.

Meanwhile Henry DaRais now under the name Henry Oldrey having become an agent of the church was also dispatched to the castle as Dracula's minions had abducted seven children from the nearby town of Veros, searching for their reincarnated master.

Meanwhile Carrie Fernandez, a young girl, merely twelve years of age, twice orphaned by Dracula has awakened a great magical power. Her familly the Fernandez are distant descendants of Sypha Belnades's familly and as such Carrie has inherrited the sorcerous power. Believing only the defeat of Dracula will allow both her familly, killed years, and her adopted mother, to rest in peace, ventured out alone to Castle Dracula.

Henry would succeed in rescuing six missing children while Carrie and Reinhardt met the seventh child, named Malus, whom seemed very confused and of particular interest to Dracula's minions.

They would later meet Malus acting more strangely deeper inside the castle.

While Reinhardt met a young woman named Rosa whom was resisting the curse of vampirisim and fought with Death to save her, he ultimately failed, Rosa throwing herself in front of Death's scythe. Reinhardt defeated Death in a fit of rage.

Carrie meanwhile encountered the witch Actrise whom attempted to recruit her into dracula's service. She first demonstrated by using a vampire whom was once Carrie's own cousin forcing Carrie to kill her in a battle of magical power. Carrie later gained retribution by killing Actrise.

Together Reinhardt and Carrie along with Charlie Vincent another vampire hunter would each contribute a part to defeating Dracula only to learn that Malus himself was Dracula reincarnate. Having regained his memories he was revealed by Vincent and defeated by Carrie and Reinhardt, sinking back into Hell until his next resurection.

While Carrie dissapeared into history Reinhardt again met Rosa whom was restored after Dracula's defeat.

And Now....

The year is 1860, the place is Wallachia, a small province of Romania, in the Transylvania region. Eight years ago Reinhardt Shneider and Carrie Fernandez with aid from Charlie Vincent and Henry Oldrey defeated Count Vlad Tepez Dracula.

The dread Castle Dracula collapsed leaving only ruins behind. His destiny fulfilled Reinhardt with Rosa departed moving to America to start a new life. The vampire Killer whip returned to Hugh Baldwin, whom in honor of his father had appended his name to Hugh B. Morris, travels with him to America along with his wife, son, and newborn grandson Quincy. Carrie had since dissapeared from both sight and history.. Loyal agent of the church, Henry has been dispatched elsewhere to supress evil forces in other parts of the world.

Remaining behind Charlie Vincent used part of the reward money devided between himself and the other heroes to rebuild the villaige of Veros the town closest to the castle ruins. However having been around long enough to see Dracula resurected three times in his lifetime Charlie believed that the agents of evil would not simply rest. As such he founded the hunter's guild, and put out a call to tallented individuals from all over the world to gather in Veros, and prepare to use their many different skills to overwhelm the forces of evil when next they made their move.

Evil is not in stagnation though, and wicked forces have also begun converging on the ruins of Castle Dracula seeking to make use of the meridians of dark energy there. All out war is now imminent, the forces of good and evil must collide.

Now the Ancients even rear their heads putting their agents on earth to take advantage of the coming conflict. The outcome is uncertain in the disharmony of individuals seeking to make their name in this clash of forces.
